‘Mental Toughness for Runners’ helps with tough charity challenge…
Mental Toughnesss for Runners by Michele Ufer, proved an invaluable resource for German Police officer, Achim Dieterich, as he ran and biked across Florida to raise money for the Fraternal Order of Police in Pinellas County. The donations collected along the way are to be used to support the families of police officers who died in the line of duty. Achim suffered continual pain during the race – but his desire and motivation was to help the families who suffered loss, no matter what pain his body experienced. Read more…

‘Eat, Move, Sleep, Repeat’ – Meet the professor who tells us why he’s sharing his knowledge
Professor Gleeson talks to us as we celebrate publication of his great healthy lifestyle guidebook, ‘Eat, Move, Sleep, Repeat’… There are many books on specific diseases and their treatments and some on prevention strategies but usually the focus is on only one disease (e.g. coronary heart disease, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, cancer etc). Very few (if any) provide comprehensive coverage of multiple potential health problems. There are way too many books by TV celebrity medics, fitness gurus and chefs about healthy lifestyles and weight loss with heavy focus on dieting and minimal science content. Read more…

Brilliant turnout for Galloway’s Cardiff Running School!
What a fabulous turnout for Jeff Galloway’s first running school in Cardiff! Attendees at the 22 September event were able to learn about the key Galloway training methods, direct from Jeff himself, and to get answers to all their running questions. It was lovely to see several members of Run Mummy Run, and Girls that Jeff at the event! Through his running schools, retreats, clinics at events, individual consultations, and books, Jeff has coached over 1 million runners, helping them to achieve their goals. Read more…
