Isabel Arechabala has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense Faculty of Madrid. Since 1982, she has been working in the fields of illustration and graphic design. She successfully combines her work as an illustrator/graphic designer and her job as a professor of illustration and computer graphic design.

Zuleyha Avsar is a physical education teacher educator in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the Uludag University, Bursa, Turkey. AYTON, Tracey

Tracey Ayton received the Austswim Teacher of the Year for infant and preschool swimming for two consecutive years, the Swim Australia Meritorious Award for outstanding service in the Learn to Swim program, and many other community service awards.

She has developed an award-winning baby program and the current curriculum at Little Heroes Swim Academy, a swim school that specializes in teaching students with disabilities.

BARTH, Berndt

Dr. Berndt Barth headed the DFB’s (German Fencing Federation) committee for education and training science, and served as the DFB’s secretary general. His teaching activity at the Coaches Academy Cologne and the College of Sports Management in Potsdam, Germany, and being on the editorial board at the magazine Leistungssport, allow him to stay current on all the latest sports science research.

Katrin Barth, born in 1966, has been a teacher of elementary education for many years. She has personally completed the basic education, as well as the fundamental and advanced training in fencing.

BERTOLAZZI, Alberto

Alberto Bertolazzi has collaborated with many newspapers and created numerous illustrated books. In 2011, he launched his writing career with the novel Il rugby salver il mondo (Rugby Will Save the World). He has practiced many types of sports, some at a competitive level, others as an amateur. Alberto has been a diving instructor, the president of an amateur soccer league, and the coach and trainer of junior soccer and rugby teams. He also contributed to drafting educational and informative books about sports.

BERTRAND, Sophie

Sophie is Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) with a BSc Psychology degree, an MSc in Clinical Nutrition, founder of Sophie’s Healthy Kitchen, co-host of the Forking Wellness podcast and co-author of recently released nutrition book ‘Forking Wellness’.

Sophie has worked with leading brands in the food industry and also works with clients in a 1-1 setting at the Rhitrition clinic on Harley St.

She uses her Instagram page @sophieshealthykitchen to share evidence-based nutrition and a variety of recipes that are both delicious and nutritious.

BHAVE, Maya E

Dr. Maya Bhave is an adjunct professor of Sociology at St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont. Her expertise is in a wide range of topics: gender relations in the US; immigration patterns, particularly those of female African migrants; and contemporary race relations. She has published scholarly articles and book chapters on the struggle for work-life-family balance of working women, the qualitative gendered narratives of middle and high school soccer players, the silence of stillbirth research around the globe, as well as several book reviews on feminist books and poetry. She lives with her husband and two sons in New England.

BLUME, Michael

Michael Blume has been dealing with the theory and practice of acrobatics since his studies. He taught P.E., history and performing arts at a Rudolf-Steiner-School and was associate lecturer for sport at the University of Bremen. As a teacher for acrobatics and theatre at the clown and artist school in Viby he was responsible for establishing professional artist schooling in Denmark. He currently works as a teacher of Sport and Pedagogy at the VIA University College in Denmark.

BORBELY, Laco

Laco Borbely studied soccer coaching at FTVS UK. He played for Dukla Banska Bystrica, Sparta Praha, and ZTS Kosice. He has coached various first and second league teams in Slovakia and Hungary. Laco was president of UFTS (Football Coaches Union of Slovakia) and a chairman of the technical committee of SFA (Slovakia Football Association). He has co-authored several publications on tactics in soccer. He holds a UEFA EuroPro License.

Paul C. Graeme Copas is a sports journalist and editor with over 25 years of experience of regular reporting on rugby and other sports at all levels from grass roots to major international events.

Whilst his knowledge of other sports such as rowing and cricket is encyclopaedic, rugby is his passion, and this shows in his writing. He is a regular contributor to various sports journals, a competent broadcaster and creator of a sports podcast.

CZIMEK, Jimmy

Dr. Jimmy Czimek is a certified sports teacher and trainer. He earned his doctorate in psychology and training theory at the German Sport University Cologne. He is the former co-trainer of the German women’s volleyball national team and head coach in the 1st division Volleyball Bundesliga. In 2010, he began working at the German Sports University Cologne as a senior student counselor. He also lectures in the LFG Volleyball at the Institute for Mediation Competence in Sports. Since 2012 he has overseen the A-trainer education at the DVV (German Volleyball Association), where he has been the main instructor for volleyball since 2014. Since 2013 he has been the coordinator and main instructor for the volleyball sports game at the Cologne Trainer Academy. He has also trained the women’s national league team DSHS SnowTrex Köln for many years.

DIEHL, Mike

Mike Diehl is a certified trainer for performance sports as well as health, fitness, and sport rehabilitation. He is also a mental and relaxation trainer and sports instructor for stamina and fitness in the German armed forces. As an active soldier, he has been with the special unit for years.

Since 2007, Diehl has been the fitness coach of the German Fed Cup team (Women’s national tennis team) where he trains top players such as Angelique Kerber and Julia Gurges. Diehl also works for the Tennis Association Mittelrhein as a fitness trainer. In the past he was responsible for the Fortuna Dusseldorf soccer players and the DEG Metro Stars ice hockey team.

DOOLEY, Bill

Bill Dooley has coached boys and girls of every age from U-Little to high school level. He has had the opportunity to create programs and multi-level curricula for the Coerver Coaching affiliate in Colorado. Bill has been an NSCAA member since 1988. He was also a member of the World Cup USA Founders Club, which underwrote the successful bid for the 1994 World Cup.
